Last year's retreat, Love and the Scandal of Obedience with Corinna Delskeskamp-Hayes, was an interesting and successful one. We had quite a large attendance from many states as well as locally. Most of the out of town people were able to be housed at the Holy Dormition Monastery Guest House, here in Rives Junction, MI.

Our speaker, Corinna Hayes resides in Germany where she is Director of European Programs, International Studies in Philosophy and Medicine, Co-Editor of Christian Bioethics, and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Medicine and Philosophy. We were the first stop for her here in the U.S. and were inspired, and blessed by her Orthodox understanding in relation to her field of study. She brought knowledge as well as joy to the conference weekend.

We wish her well in her future endeavors.
